Scott Snowmobile Gear

Used to wear Reima - not sure if the products stayed the same when they became SCOTT - I am looking at their gear for this year as well.

I had three Reima jackets and found them to be good. I now have FXR and have found it to be much better made, lighter, better fitting, more functional, etc. Now, that doesn't mean the Reima jackets were bad, just not as good as FXR. If I were a student then I would go with Reima and save your money.

You should also check with Port Yamaha as they always have really good deals on clothing.

I used to wear Reima gear as long as it was finnish made. Very good quality and I never had any issues. After Scott bought Reima, they moved most of the production to asian countries like China, Taiwan and Thailand. Not saying this is a bad thing (possibly the only way to keep a competitive price...?), but I did never wear them after they changed the name as I have been on Yamaha (FXR) snocross gear ever since. The shell jackets and shell pants from Scott still seem to be quite OK, a lot of snocrossers around here are using them.

Thanks for the responses. Any other suggestions? Anyone try the Klimate line of Klim? Seems to be suited more towards trail riders.

I have some Scott bibs, i like them.. I am also selling a red Arctiva Mechanized jacket and bib..$300 for both size large..I have pics, pm me if you want to see them.

Now I understand where Reima went... I have a two piece gore-tex suit from Reima and it's just fantastic. I have had it and used it for 10 years and it's almost like new still. And nothing beats Gore-Tex!!!
