Just put them on both sleds.

On the Vector, the ski saver hangs over the edge of the keel by a bit. On the Rage, the keel is even narrower, so the ski saver hangs over quite a bit on each side.

Do you think I should get a dremmel and trim the ski saver to the width of the keels or is it possibly a good thing that the keel now has a slight " I " shape to it? With the " I " shape, I could see a potential benefit of gripping the snow during a turn.

I made my own ski savers with sliders and they were a little wider as well. I think that they help with the turning as well and they lasted quite well last season.

I say leave it as is.

Funny, thought I was the only one messing with these. I make them from a piece of 1"x1/8" flat metal. Cut a little shorter than the wear bar, drill holes to match wear bar mounting studs, and taper a little so they don't snag on anything. Takes maybe 15-20 minutes to make them. They look kinda like a shim, but I use them to protect the ski keel in marginal conditions (which I find myself in too often lately). Got the idea from the Polaris EZ Steer system if you are familiar with those. Never any ski wear - as long as there is enough wear bar left to hold the shim in place.

I wish I had installed the ski savers when I first installed the skis. They suffered quite a bit of wear before I installed them.
