Taking the sleds out of summer storage tomorrow and I picked up some seafoam to add to the gas to help clean out the carbs. I ran fuel stabilizer through them in the spring then drained the carbs but I'm adding seafoam just to make sure everything is clear. On the can it says treats 30-95 liters. How much do you guys add to a half or full tank of fuel?

I would use 1 to 2 ozs per gallon. This chemical seems to do a good job cleaning the entire fuel system. 1 oz is equivalent to 30 ml.

Thanks for the info. Jim, I appreciate the conversion ;)!

Where can I buy some of this seafoam.. I think I need it for my new Mini Z. It seems to have a hard time staying idling and I believe it has never been serviced properly in the spring and winter, so I'm betting the carb may be a little varnished..

I have found Seafoam in the NAPA auto parts stores, Advance Auto Parts stores, local auto parts stores and even Walmart had it in their automotive section for a few months. If your auto parts store does not carry it, perhaps they can order it for you.

here in canada, napa is the easyest place to get it.

I've seen it in Menards too. In the Lawn and garden section with the lawn mower stuff..
