I am considering a seat jack back for my 2011 Apex so I can take the family on a trip each year (which would be one more for me too  ). How well do these work? I hate to consider a 2 up sled just for one trip a year. Thanks.

SEAT JACK

I have a seat jack on my 2008 Apex GT works great, easy to take on and off, kids hand get cold, considering adding hand warmers or guantlets .

Thanks for the feedback.

I put one on my 08 Apex LTX and it works great. Extremely easy to take on/off, and holds my girlfriend who is about 125lbs. I have a bit of ski lift, but just ride less aggressively with her on. I'm sure I could probably adjust some shock settings if I were riding 2 often.

I have one on my 2007 apex. Great product. My sons weigh 65 and 90 lbs my wife 125. I didnt like having my youger son behind me last year when he was only 50lbs. The seat is large and he is still a little small for it but works great for the other 2. When the litttle guy rides behind me I have to look back sometimes to make sure he is still there. I thought about adding a take off padded spacer to push him up 3 to 5 inches so I can feel him on my back but he'll be bigger next year and wont be a problem. I have had a seat jack for my last three sled and was vary happy with all of them.

On the negetive side. Makes me wnat to keep the sleds more so I don't have to buy another. If i do buy a new apex with EPS i'm hoping my the jack I have now works on that one too.

Burley, can you tell me more about the EPS. How do you like it. I love my apex but after 150 miles I realy want to bo on my phazer.

Red the eps is awesome you can ride all day long and fatige is a thing of the past you wont regret it also i think you can get diffrent rails for diffrent sled so you dont have to buy the seat again

EPS is great. We often ride consecutive 200+ mile days in the UP and you still feel great when you come home. The tuner skis are a must too.
