Towers on my secondary are broken allowing slide pucks to fall out - mine has a stainless outer hosuing that was on my sled when i bought it used - my buddy has same sled bought new and his has a aluminum outer hub ? has mine had something done to it ? both are 05 rx1 - i just rode mine home for 200 miles with a blown mono shock - am i wrong in assuming this is what caused issue or should i replace more than just tower section of secondary ? want dependability more than anything if this is a after market part causing the issue should i just find entire secondary to repair ?

If its a stainless helix then yes it would be aftermarket. It should have a # or name stamped in it somewhere to tell you who made it and what angles the helix woulb be. It most likely has a helix & clutch kit in the primary to get the most out of your sleds performance.
I'm not sure what causes towers to break but others on here may know??
As for the helix wrecking the shock, not even related. Sled was rode hard and shock let go. They do need rebuilt or replaced every so many Kms.

clutch issue
not saying clutch caused shock to go am wondering if shock having no gas and riding on spring if this would cause stress to crack towers on clutch or would this be fron the after market helix ?

I would be VERY surprised if the shock issue caused the secondary issue (and it would have to be some weird harmonics kind of thing). More than likely it's two separate issues.
I'm not sure what would crack those clutch towers though, maybe an over shift issue???
