How much free play(rotation) is normal for the secondary to have from front to back with no belt on?

If your sled has reverse, actually quite a bit. Just guessing, I'd say 2 to 3 inches at the outside edge of the secondary clutch.

thank you much, it does have reverse, and it rotates about 2 inches. guess I didn't notice it in the past.
