the side deflectors on the Med or tall winsheild. Do they work well??? and are they worth the money.....Does it keep the wind off your body or knees????

I have them, but I don't think they make all that much difference. The sled is not as cold a ride as you think it will be.

Except for the grips. I might try gauntlets next year. :brrr:

Sitting on the Nytro at the show it seemed as though those deflectors would deflect air from your lower chest to below your waist. I know on my RTX with med. windshield thats where I feel a lot of shall we say draft.
I guess different geometry, different results.

I noticed the side shields cut down on the wind on my legs. My advise is get the tall shield with side deflectors. Plus you can use the bigger windshield bag with the tall or medium shield which is nice. The bag for the accessory low shield is alot smaller.

Yep! Don't you just wish it was the start of winter again right now?

That 09 standard design is slightly different than the 08 accessory options. That shield looks to be the same height or maybe a touch lower than the accessory mid height. Also the side deflectors have 2 fasteners vs. 3 attatching it to the windshield.

here is the mid with the side deflectors

I hope they have a taller windshield

For taller riders I hope they come out with a taller windshield. as you can see from our website www.nytro23.com the temps during our race were 50 below, was glad I had my windshield extension on ( be it home made ). I think their current tall windshield is 15" , needs to be 18" for the taller crowd.
