what is the best stuff to use to make the side panels look sharp. I remember someone on here posting some pictures of his sled and people thought he had them painted. Who ever it was said that he had used some kind of polish or wax to bring them up. Any help would be apreciated.

After trying a whole bunch of things..........

I think Black Magic ProShine Protectant works among the best

available at WalMart and auto parts stores.

I used Honda Polish I have for the bike on mine, dosn't make the black panels looks like they are painted, but sure makes them blue painted panels shine.

Armor All too, just keep it away from the seat. Wife did a great job but 3 weeks later and I'm still slipping off the back when I nail the throttle. :jump:

Honda polish on the hood, side panel'a, wind shield, and seat. About the best there is. I even use it as a detailer on my STEEDA Mustang before show's. kviper

i use dupont plastic and vinal protectant. works great on side pannels, around gauges and on the seat. gives stuff the nice"wet" look. just dont get any on the top of the seat where you sit or you wont be on the sled long.

For the black plastic. Meguiar's Endurance high gloss. It purple in color and smells like grape cool-aid. The stuff LASTS!!!! It works better than anything else.
For the painted parts Meguiar's Gold Class Paste wax.

How about a little shine for the tunnel???

thanks for all the help guys. at least i have a couple of things to try now
