Hey Guys -
Perhaps a silly post but I search and came up empty handed..
What tool do you guys use to remove the circlips holding the bearing in place in the idler wheels? They're a B*tch to get out with a pair of needle nose. I'm going to head to Canadian Tire in a bit to pick up something better, wondering what ya'll recommend!
Thanks
Bill

You need Snap Ring Pliers like these...

Should also be able to get them at any good Automotive store or Sears...

I don't know why you are removing clip. If it's to replace a faulty bearing, you might be better off buying new wheel. If its to lube the bearing, you can pop the seal without removing clip. If you lube the bearing about every 3,000 miles, they will last for many miles. The Jackshaft and driveshaft bearings should be greased also. Use a grease gun needle to lube bearings.

Even with the correct snap ring pliers, make sure you have a good pair of safety glasses on when you work with the snap rings. They have a mind of their own and love to fly off the pliers at high speed.
