The magazine add says the skis are 10in wide. looks like theres more ski from the keel to the outer edge of the ski for better flotation.

It kills me when a company comes out with a new product, advertises it in all the mags, referrs you to their website, and you go to check it out only to discover their useless site hasn't been updated in like 3 years.
I have a technical term for companies like this: Marketing Morons.
I bet if you called them on the phone they'd gladly explain everything to ya. The 10 inch thing just floored me when I saw that in the ad. That's almost a FOOT wide! Exactly twice as wide as most OEM skis. They certainly wouldn't fit in my trailer along side any other sled...my 7 inch wide Slydog Powderhounds scrape the left wall and the other sled on the right side already...another 6 inches would NEVER work for me from that standpoint. And you might not be able to squeeze between the same trees as everyone else while boondocking!
But I imagine they'll float like nothing else...well worth checking out if you have room for 'em.

My regular Simmons are about as wide as I'd want any ski to be for UP trails and Canada.
