Simple question

Are the A-Arms on the RX1 Mountain the same as the RX1 non mountain? I noticed the part numbers are different, but I dont understand why they would be different? Does one sit wider than the other?

The short track A arms are wider and some how the front shocks mounts are different.

The reason I know this is I bought my Holtz 41" front end for my RX-1 Mountain from a guy who had bought it for his short track RX-1. He bolted the A arms in place but for some reason his RX-1 short track front shocks wouldn't work with the RX-1 Mountain front A arms. Maybe the shocks are too long, I don't know exactly.

The mountain front susp. is 38" and the shorties are 42"

As Frostbite said, the shocks on the short track model are longer than on the mountain sleds

On the Mountain model you can go from stock 38,6" to max 41" a-arms before you need new (longer) shocks like the ones on the short track RX-1.

And on the short track model you can go from 42" to 45" (or maybe more) with the stock shocks.
