when my rx-1 gets warm (after several hours of running) the speedo and tack quit, machine spits and sputters, the temp light doesnt come on but the little ! light flashes. this will happen for a second then its fine again. 5 minutes later same thing. today it started and ran really really bad, like on 2 cylinders with no tack or speedo indication. i checked all kinds of wires i unpluged every sensor and light i could find, one at a time. it only got worse. any ideas?? computer on the fritz??

Didn't find any chaffed wires? The only thing I hear much of is the ones coming in from the nose cone chaffing off and grounding out.

every wire every connector looks mint, i tried it again last night, for the first time it did it when the motor was cold. this time really bad, it just pops and sputters and the tack and speedo keep reseting. from what i understand the speedo only drops off if the ignition is turned off? maybe i'll test the key next?? running outta ideas???

im wonderin about what looks to be a little black relay... the tack only comes on after the sled is running, is that the relay that goes to the starter with a couple control wires on it, or is that just the starter soilenoid? i wonder if the power voltage for the tack comes from the computer or the relay?? anyone know?? looked over every freakin wire in the thing!!
