I didn't say what kind :tg: 8 mile "sprint" type of timed race. Mostly pointers or pointer & husky mixes - lean and fast - not big and strong.
They were doing the course in about 20 minutes, according to the flagger.

We have some actually sharing some parts of our snowmobile trail system and have a lot of respect for them when passing by them, we really slow down to admire them! if it wasn't so much up keep I'd love to have a team dogs and sled to enjoy, but you need SPACE and lots of time...I live on a 75' x 100' lot.
 
I leave out tomorrow to catch the Iditarod sled dog race in the Great Alaska Wilderness. We have a huge bonfire out in the middle of nowhere. It's about 2 am before the first musher gets to us. &5 teams this year. 1100 miles.
