I have had de-lamination of the idler wheels on the inside idlers towards the back of the mono rear suspension on all three of sleds I have owned with the mono. I have read the posts about 'Doo wheels. I am wondering if anyone has tried Slydog idlers the same circumference as the factory wheels. Is there a reason other than noise the wheels have to be laminated with the rubberlike stuff? I always run studs and I am sure the back of the studs are helping to tear up the factory wheels. Why wouldn't just a plain old non-laminated wheel work? I think these are what the Slydogs are. If I am missing something here please comment. Thanks.

I've got Slydogs on the inner rear, spoked Yammi wheels, (from the accessory catalog), up front and the stock ones in the rear and have had zero problems with this set-up. I do grease the bearings at the beginning of each season and never think about them again 'til next year.
