Trackers are Less expensive in the long run! I have wasted my last penny on aftermarket ski's! I have spent some time on my Nytro with semi agressive Snowtrackers now and I can say they are a huge improvement in settling the front end down with 0 tracking.

I ran the Curves with LE on my Apex XTX and then put my stock ski's back on with snotrackers. While the stock ski's do not float quite as well as the Curves the snowtrackers where 10 times better then the 8 inch carbides on the Curves. Even with the power steering the Curves where way harder to steer then the Stock with snowtrackers. My shoulders love me for going to the snowtrackers. Positive steering no darting and one handed cornering if I want to! With 2,500 miles on the snowtrackers and no visible wear to speak of they last very well.
The only way I would put the Curves back on is if I could buy snowtrackers for them.

Has anyone tried the snow trackers for the tuner ski's? I'm thinking about either going snow trackers on my tuners or curves. I mostly trail ride so I don't need the float the curve gives.

Just curious, to those that didnt like the tuners, what kid of carbides were you running?
I ran square bar carbides, 6 inche inside 4 inch outside and loved it. Sled handled amazing and predictable. I also have my ball joints modded, not sure if thats what made the difference, and my alignment was perfect too. No darting, no following other tracks, super light steering (can drive with one hand) only issue is they will push in the soft stuff.
I generally drive my sled extremely hard too, so its not that I dont drive aggressively. My brother has c&a razors, they handle good, but the only thing they do better than tuners is they push less in loose snow conditions. The steering effort is way heavier, and they do dart a little bit.

qualipieces carbides, i bought them at the dealer. The bars are square instead of round. They were a little pricy, they lasted 5000 kms. , but I always end up doing quite of bit of road riding because of snow conditions where i live.
Keep in mind my nytro is 121 not an xtx,

I ran the same setup as you. Ya they are awesome when the trails are set up and nice and hard. But if you throw a little loose on top of that and you are going to push thru every corner. I originally went to the curves for the extra flotation, but the superb handling came as a huge bonus.

I went with Yamaha mountain skis and aggressive snowtrackers on my 09 Apex LTX coming off duallies and stock width Yamaha skis. It rails through the corners!! - I feel like I am roadracing my MC - leaning off, etc. Not sure of deep snow performance as snow was not great last year in MN. I can see if someone is not prepared for the grip the snowtrackers give it could seem like the sled is more tippy - but I just slide over to the inside of the corner and it rips right through. Also allows me to swoop more through the corner lessening the tear up of the snow at the apex of the corner.
