Ok, were almost in March and I am Sled shopping again.... I would love to Get this Phazer Chassie with More HP for when I ride the lakes and Bigger Trails....

However Bigger CC"s Usually mean More Weight...

Bigger CC's can mean more weight but, whats wrong with twenty more pounds if there is sixty more horses to go with it?

No way is there going to be 60 more... word is 50. Rumor is 973cc triple refined an extra 10hp from current 120. Of course, this is all rumor until they actually say so.

was not insisting there was going to be sixty more horses, was just pointing out the fact a little more weight can be well worth it if the horsepower is enough to compensate!

Not sure about the flatlander sled, but I'm sure you will get the motor.

I can't freaking wait.

After been out of snowmobiling for 15 years I picked up a 2000 AC Powder Special 700 this winter. The conditions are ideal and while the sled rips, I can't take the fuel consumption and most of all, I seem to have developed a strong aversion to the fumes (and the sled is slight out of tune and loading up at low revs).

I want something to play with. Some climbing, drift jumping and general hooliganism, some lake running capability between the drift playing, more upright seating position (I'm 6'4" with bad knees) more power then the 07 Phazer and suspended to take abuse (at 6'4", I'm a heavy lad). Most of all, 4 stroke.

I love the 07 Phazer without ever having been on it. I know it is the right platform. If all the rumors are true I'll be snow checking a 3 hold Phazer (Exciter?? Nitro??) whatever it comes out as. A 136" with 1.25 - 1.5" track would be perfect.

There are some great deals on 06 and even 07 Apex to be had locally but I'll hold out for another week and make do with stinky cat. I considered a Z1 but having had bullet proof Yammy cycles in the past, it is time for me to try a sled. There will be a new 07 Grizzly in the garage within the week so I should get an 08 Yammy sled to go with it.

Instead of waiting why not just by one and stick a turbo on it? Turbo's are way cooler than big motors and don't add weight to your sled. You will also get your 60 hp gain at least. If guys are making 300 reliable hp with the Apex and RX1 why not 160 with the Phazer? I'm just waiting for some guys with more money than me to find out what these motors can do and then I'm sure I will be cranking up the boost too. I had no intention of buying a sled this year but when I heard about the Phazer and MC-X I had to get one and have been loving it.
