I tried my first radar run today not knowing that they are done on glare ice I thought it would be on hard packed snow and with my sled not having picks in it just spinning all the way down the 1/4 mile to a blistering 96mph LOL. oh well it was fun anyways

Your brave to run that fast on glare ice with no studs.
I tried mine with no studs (new track, too lazy to stud it) in 1320 on hard pack air strip, we have it all maked off for racing. I thought 108 was pretty good. 800 etecs were doing 102.

I wish it was hard packed snow or I had the sled picked but I have a trail sled with an ice ripper track that works great on the trails just not for ice racing

I took some runs on the lake yesterday. Best result was 79 mph 
I guess the powdery loose snow had something to do with this result. My speedo was showing 93 mph but I felt the track didn´t have much traction. Sled is extended Apex, 144" track with 2" lug and 8t extros + 22/38 gears. No modifications on clutch yet.
