Speed goals for next year!!!!!!!!!!

What track are you running? There have been people on here running very close to these number's before, lowered and running a 1"track. If you tell me you are running 127 with a 1.25" track at full ride height than I say no way! I would also say if your break is dragging enough to consume 3 MPH over 3,000 ft you would have likely had a fire. I will go out on a small limb here and say you will not put eight MPH on to the 127. Shoot for 130 first and be very proud if you hit it because I don't think it has been done brfore with a STOCK Apex. You will find that every MPH will come very hard at those speed's as wind resistance over the sled, in the tunnel, and under the sled multiplies. The power needed for the gains you are looking for is not there in a STOCK Apex regardless of how efficient your chasis is. Just my .02

Disregard some of my post as you posted some detail's just before my post.

i've sent dozens of members pic's and lists of what i've done. i'm all about making all our sleds faster. homemade ram air lid with slp prefilter, 8" big wheel kit, 1" lug track, 24/38 gears, lower the front suspension as low as it would go, polar atac clutch and raise the limiter strap as high as it'll go. send me a pm and give me your email and i'll send you pic's of everything.

I don't know what event's you run but that sled would not be legal in a stock class with that clutch.

when i pull it off and reinstall the stock clutch it'll run 1/2 mph slower than the polar atac. i put the polar atac on for the fuel mileage. when i run events i put the stock clutch back on.

Well that is pretty sweet you are willing to help people.

And the numbers I can believe I suppose. I saw sleds at full ride height with one inch tracks with literally no other changes done to them run 125 this winter in a about 2500 ft. It is all about playing.
