2009 FX Nytro RTX...
Hello Fellow TYer's. Wondering if anyone can answer my question. I bought a set of skinz control arms for my 2009 Nytro RTX which I'm converting into a 136. My sled came from the factory with fox float shocks so they will not work seeing they have a solid rubber mount bushing. So I was wondering if I can get spherical bearings to install where the bushings are in my shocks. I'm use to adjusting these shocks to different conditions now and really don't want to part with them. Thanks for any help.

I believe the guys at OFT here can machine your floats for spherical bearings. the spherical bearings will into your floats the lies in holding it in place, I have heard of someone drilling and threading a set screw to hold them in place. the next thing you will need is spacers to take up space in the shock mounts and they also act as shim spacer to adjust for bolt sizes as fox uses one size spherical bear for all applications. I went through this a while back when I picked up a used set of float x evols that were missing spacers.

Should have gone with the Barcode a-arms. No special shocks needed, will work with all factory shocks.

Oft put spherical bearings into my float X shocks I can sell them to you or you can try to get oft to do the work on your shocks. I am using elka stage 5 shocks a big time improvement over the floats!

What would you be looking at selling those fox shocks for ?
