Stabilizer bar install question...

I installed a 13 mm stabilizer bad this past weekend and everything looks good and I fillowed the directions. Then I noticed there's some leway in the bar where it slides. Both ends of the stabilizer bar are flush with the ouside of the brackets so if I move the arm brackets in more then part of the stabilizer bar will stick out a little on both sides. Is this normal or did I do something wrong?

There should be a little side-to-side movement. I'm not sure exactly what the spec is on it, but maybe someone that does know will chime in here. I usually just get the links on so they are flush with the ends of the bar as you described and go with it!!!
