stock exhaust cover temp - 4stroke covers??

Do the exhaust covers get pretty hot? Can you put decals on the exhaust covers without them melting or getting screwed up due to heat?

I have on my 03 RX1, no problem on the plastic part.

The exhaust covers are made of plastic and do not get hot. The covers have YAMAHA stickers on them from the factory so anything you put on them should be fine.

I have rode a four stroke a couple of times but was not concerned about it then and my new to me Attak is put away for now.
