Found an old thread that Turk, the clutching guru was in and he said it works best on 6 on helix & 1 on secondary, even thou the manual says it sould be 6 & 2.
I would go with Turks recommendation, He knew his stuff.

6 on cover and 1 spring hole is stock. Go 6 and 2 for 80 degrees. Sheave hole # + spring seat hole # =degrees. Stock is 70 degrees. Any combination can be used. I believe 80 works best if all else is stock...

Manual says 3-3 or 6-1. mine was 6-1 so i tightened 1...
