I currently have a 1" track w/ 1.175 Woody's on my Apex GT. I would like to go to 1.325 length stud. Has anyone else used this same combo without any tunnel or exhaust damage. I know guys with 1.25" tracks have no problems with the 1.325" studs but with a .25" more reach on the shallower lug track concerns me. By measuring the clearance it seems to be ok but when the sled is being put through it's paces it can be different. Thanks for any comments.

I ran a 9830 in my RX-1 with 1.340 Rotens. It works but you have to watch your track tension. You can hit the tunnel with any lenght stud if your track is to loose

What kind of 1"track do you have? 1.175 would seem to be the right size. 1.325 is pretty long. Great for drag Racing, but I'm not sure about anything else.

My 2 friends with Mach Z's have run 1.375's with their .9" tracks. They work great, with no track damage. That goes against all the expert advice, but what do they know.

If I ever have to change tracks, I'll do the same.

I'm running 1.40 extreme max studs on the stock 1.25 rip saw track. 06 attak, no clearance issues yet. over 1200 miles.

It's the same track as they put on the Mach Z. I don't get real good traction on ice and I've heard of guys with Mach's with 1.325" hooking up great and with spinning bad with the 1.175" studs. I am not sure what the difference intunnel clearance there is compared to the Apex.

I RAN 1.250 CHISELS ON MY RX1 WITH NO HITTING.192 THE SLED WOULD ACTUALLY RIDE A WHEELIE. :yam:
