ok so maybe we got more water then i expected but, i went riding on sat and had my grizzly in up to the seat, she stalled and it took water thru the exhaust (i think) i tried to get her running on the trail but had no luck. took her home and worked on it for about an hour. now my questions/i changed the oil in the engine didn't have water in it,i checked the air intake and no water, the clutch did have water but i drained it, also took the cover off to see if any dirt was in their(not much),i took the spark plug out several times and water was in their, when it finally started some came out of the exhaust. my questions are did it come thru the exhaust? should i do anything else to it? thanks for all your help.

Maybe check your front and rear diffs for water just to be safe, unlikely unless it sat under water for a long time.

Sorry yo hear about your luck!
I'm just a trail rider, and avoid purposely hitting the deep stuff, but accidents do happen, so I am considering a Bayou Snorkel kit for that reason. My old 400ex played jet ski once on a creek crossing gone bad and made it through without incident....Surprizing considering water was up to the headlights, until I started to wheelie it to keep it breathing.

Re: after thought
While it's good to check the diffs, they're probably OK. Your primary clutch will need some attention in the future though as the dirt mixes with the grease and keeps the rollers from working as well as they should. It's not a real difficult job but rather messy and time consuming.
I'll probably have to go through that exercise again, twice, after this weekend as I never did get around to putting snorkles on my machines.
Yes the water likely came through the exhaust, that's not uncommon,DOGCOP said:i told my buddy i should have tied it to the tree, lesson learned!
