Hi, I am new to the sport of snowmobiling (this year being my first) What needs to be done to a snowmobile for storage in the summer. I have a 08 phazer mtx and a 05 Arctic cat m6. Any advise would help.

Thanks!!! :letsnow:

Summer Storage

You need to make sure the skid frame is all regreased and all the water is pushed out. look real good at all the pivot pionts there are usually grease fittings at all of those points. I also like to change my gear case oil if it is looking (dark) well used. Some machines also have a grease fitting for the drive axel bearings on the oppisite side of gear box, look below your secondary clutch. Also put fuel stabalizer in your gas and on your two stroke remove spark plugs and spray fogging oil in top of cylinder. On your phazer I would change oil and filter and if you leave your rigs outside on the ground make sure you block them up so tracks wont rot. Hope this is helpful, good luck. :4STroke:
