I did a search but I couldnt find pics of an installed super-Q on a nytro. I checked the website also. Can someone post a pic for me to see the fit and finish? Is the super Q too loud?

I was just looking at some Nytro's that had them, on You Tube, Sounds nice. Not too loud. looks like it retains all of the stock shielding and has a tip that turns out 90 %.

i dont have any pics, but i have the ultra Q (supposed to be the trail version). the fit and finish is excellent, but even the ultra Q after some some miles is real loud!. i cant imagine what the superQ (race version) is like!

fastest way to LOSE horsepower? bolt on an aftermarket silencer. I ran the ultra q for most of last season & up until yesterday when I took it off.
I found the reason for MY misfiring. the exhaust baffle had split. started sounding like crap & my sled was wayyyyyy down on hp. I tried everything from plugs to coils, stator, exhaust donuts. ended up being the crummy silencer!!!
bolted the stocker back up & whoa - she pulls hard!! I forgot how much jam this motor had.
too bad I sold the sled today! I would've enjoyed my new found hp.

I have an ultra Q and I think it sounds great but I wouldn't want it to be any louder becuse its pretty loud when your over 5000 rpm's. Fit and finish is very good. I have had no performance issues with mine, plus I would probably give up a couple HP's for the sweet sound.

Does anybady else have a super-Q that thinks they lost HP? I know alot of the cans on 2 stokes lose power but woudlnt thing a 4 stroke would since they dont need as much back pressure. Look at the Harley's and choppers.

I would try the mountain sled side. I think the super Q is going to be to loud for trail riding areas with noise regulations. I'm not sure if the ultra q would pass.
