Anyone that has put a Polaris, Skidoo, or Cat Suspension in the Rx1 mtn please post the weights here for the stock 151, as well as the others!!
I am looking at a 151 Skidoo SC10 out of about a 2003 and curious how it compares to stock suspension weight?
Also considering 153 Cat cause either way I am going to mount it with a 162 around it, Thanks, Justin

SKIDOO
I got the skidoo skid and weighted it at 58lbs stock and removed four bogies and hardware for them and got it down to 54lbs so 22lbs less than stock and made new drop brackets in the rear out of 3/16 aluminum and that shaved another 6lbs. The front mount I just moved back about an inch should work good.
So I shaved 36lbs already including 8lbs from gutting the muffler.
I may do the battery relocate and swap for a Yuasa YTZ10S for another easy 10lbs. Thanks Kachess for that info.
Any of you running the Skidoo? How do you like it? Thanks, Justin

I ran the Doo skid in my SRX and it worked pretty well. I am running the Cat skid now and I prefer it over the Doo but the Doo will work fine. Go to a 2 wheel rear axle and you can drop another 2-3 lbs plus the front arm weighs a ton so if you can find a used cromo one you can drop another 3 lbs. Also get rid of the Doo limiter strap adjuster and that'll drop another lb. Other than that there isn't much easy weight left to remove from the Doo skid.

lightweight front end
Just ordered a Holts front end from Hartman to shave another 6.5 lbs down 42.5 lbs before next ride. I may do the battery to before the ride for a total of 52.5 lbs off. Since I cant go on a diet the sled will. Noticed the stock front suspension got bent so ordered a lightweight one. Should be pretty sweet its 41 wide though I hope that doesnt make it any harder to throw around?
