My rev limiter kicks in at 11000 RPM's and form what I have been told it's suppose to kick in at 11250. Can anyone verify the RPM of the rev limiter? If 11250 RPM's is the correct cut off it stands to reason that my tachometer is off 250 RPM's. If this is true then the ideal RPM range for my clutch would be different then what most sleds are running at. I am thinking there is an internal tach separate then the one on the dash and the rev limiter is kicking in at 11250 but the dash tach is displaying 11000 RPM’s. Has anyone else experienced this condition?

mark cant you connect your laptop with the pc3 program up and check your tack against the programs reading at some rpms to compare?

sj, I guess if I put it on a stand I could compare it but I think the ECU has an internal sensor or some other device that is more accurate that is built into it that it uses for the EFI mapping and timing adjustments.

Ulmer tells me the PCIII reads it from the ECU. He may correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I thought he said.

Sledfreak, Does your tach read high or low ??
To say it,s out by 150 doesn,t really help us much. LoL
