The only info that I have been able to find is on the Canadian Yammy site. There, they mention that the Venture TF comes with the Pro Action Plus suspension with flip up tail? Is it just a slight bend at the back of the rails?

no, flip up suspension is what is on viking 540s its linked in the rear that is a must when you want to go in reverse in deepsnow, it lifts up the rear so the track gets on top of the snow instead of digging it down

i thought it was the older proactive plus
i guess it is the proaction plus
it has the flip up rear rail
i guess the pro active is something in another model
i still would like to know how the ride compares to the procomfort

hi their
I own a venture tf. I think the the tf is better for people that are going of the groom trail. They have mountain ski ,longer track so you dont have to worry about getting stuck. Because it is no fun getting these thing out. I also think that they look a bit bitter. But it`s all up to how you ride and where you go. I think you love this sled ,,,what ever way you chose.

The RS Venture TF rear suspension has shorter, stiffer springs when compared to the RS Venture's ProComfort.
I forget the name of the TF's rear suspension but it is quite different from the regular RS Venture's skid. I have ridden both and the RS Venture 144" ProComfort skid does ride better. If you are a heavy pair, the TF's stiffer rear skid can certainly come in handy.
Is there anything in particular you wanted to know about the differences in the two skids?

nothing more than the ride difference.
i originally ordered the tf and my buddy said to get the regular
rs venture 'cause the procomfort is the new smooth setup
i called my dealer and asked him to switch me over(back in april)
i didn't get anything in writing so i suspected they might not have changed my order, i decided that i would be ok with which ever model i got
so last week when i picked it up, it was the tf
should have known, also the dealer didn't keep his word on my trade-in
so i got screwed out of $800 on my fusion
everything in writing from that dealer
