The best gauntlets

I didn't go with a full gauntlet, but rather the Skinz trail series handguards. They are semi-rigid and I've gone at speeds over 100mph and haven't had any problem with them moving about. They do a great job of keeping the wind off your hands and can easily be removed and stowed away on days you elect to ride without them.

I too may be going to northern Wisconsin. I rode in -10F this weekend and had to actually turn the warmers down to 1 bar with these and the Rockerdan mod. Good luck finding a good set of warm gauntlets, as there is nothing worse than freezing your paws.

I went with a set of Parts Unlimited gauntlets for some emergency back up's that I keep in the nose of my Apex. I think they are about $20. I wish there was more clearance for the controls, but they seem to do an all right job.

For daily riding, I also have the skinz hand guards. They do block a lot of the wind, but didn't work as well as I had hoped. I generally don't have issues with cold hands since I'm running the Rockerdan mod too.

I bought a set of POWERMADD'S and work GREAT the only thing is that you need hand guards to use them preferably theirs "POWERMADD" the thing I don't like about them their bulky to store away otherwise work very well, I'll post some pic's when I get home...

gauntlets

I got mine at Fleet Farm, Farm N Fleet in Wi...... Velcro on to handlebar, less than $10 and work great.

Denny, you guys are going to freeze up there. We are supposed to have a high of 0 here on Thursday, that makes a high of -5 in Hurley...Holy WOW, thats cold. Have fun and be safe.

yamaha has just released a new gauntltets style that replace the hand guard they fit realy well and they dont touch my tall windshiel when full lock turning a tried it last weekend on mine and it was the first time that i does'nt need to set the handwarmers to the maximun position. plus they look cool. sorry about the picture my camera are under repair.
