the hood is done by my paint guy of four years www.tootallairbrush.com he is unreal!!!!
and the tunnel is mine www.arrowheadcustoms.com
tunnel is one piece of 5052 .080 thou alum all tig welded and makes it a very clean look to the back end.

i would have to say that is one of the sickest rx1's i have ever seen .man the paint job is killer.so when are you going to build a apex?keep up th good work and keep us posted on how it rips.

what i would like to do is get another used rx-1 and do it up with apex plastic.
the only thing i don't like about the apex is that the hood is very small the side panels are very big!

old style rules, have not seen one tricked apex that comes close, check out the mesh hood idea , even bunny wouldnt ride that look!

it is hard to get the apex's to have the same custom look as the hood is sooooo small. and it is kind of futile to paint the side panels. i would be willing to bet my left nut that the rx-1 can be retrofitted with apex plastic in about 1 hour! not saying i am going to do it just that i can be done.
