Last week I saw a Craigslist posting - new 2007 Phazer for $5000 in Reno, NV. I gave the guy a call and asked him why he is selling the new sled. He said he won it off the tv game show The Price is Right and doesn’t ride. I strongly considered buying it.

However, then I discovered the 2007 Phazer Mountain Lite and I’ve decided to buy it from the dealer instead.

Thanks to this forum and all of you, I know what to expect – a priceless 07/08 season.

I bought mine last spring and haven't regretted it a moment. While it won't climb everything thrown at it, it is a blast to ride. When I want to get high quick, I use the backup ....Enjoy your new ride.

If you don't mind me asking? How much did the MTN set you back? I'm strongly considering one for the wife and just wanted to know what they are going for. OTD or pre tax and all that good stuff.

The price I bought mine for wouldn't be fair to use as estimate. 1st it was a demo/rental with 500 miles on it, 2nd the week before I was to purchase, it was hit in the left running board by another sled. Damages were visibly minor, but due to tunnel cost from Yamaha, sled was totaled. I purchased as new, with full warranty for $2500 + taxes and incidentals.

By the way, it took less than 3 hours labor to straighten and true tunnel back to new condition. Only part needing replacement was left stirrup assembly.

My total on sled so far is less than $3500 and growing. I figure I got at least that much left to spend before I exceed MSRP.
