Hey guys just looking into doing this, not sure if I want to yet or not.

What do you think about this skid? Would it work on my 03 121" ? Is this the direction I want to go? I dont want to spend a whole bunch on this, its an old sled in real nice shape but I cant get crazy dropping a bunch on it at this point. Just want to improve the ride if I can

Description: Has good rails, good arms, has remote control shock and all idler wheels, outside rear axle wheels are silver.

It will ride 100x better than the No Action.

Cable adjuster likes to break, but Barn of Parts offers a delete kit which would be a smart buy.

Stock wheels do not have replaceable bearings. Front "W" arm can crack if abused. But, if you're jumping an RX1 or Apex, you're on the wrong sled anyhow.

Thanks no jumping on my sled lol

The cable delete kit and also the relocation plates are on my shopping list from BOP, I also asked Travis if he has a comparable deal on a skid I would rather buy everything from him. Waiting to hear back

So seems like I am on the right track here?

Yeah I'd say so.

If he has a Mono out of an 08 or 09 for the same or little more money, it'll have a reinforced W arm. Maybe worth it???

I put over 7,000 miles on my '06 Apex GT and never a problem with the skid. Again, it's only if seriously abused that there's any cracking potential.

Ps, it was just a kitty jump in soft snow, not a good idea to jump these haha

I have an Apex skid coming from Jim at Spa City Sled Parts! Will report back when I get it

The skid from Al's was sold. Took them a few days to get back to me since I had questions about it. They did not reply to my first email so I sent another one which they finally answered

the only answer they had was that it was sold
