Thinking of buying an apex

Good price if you're from the USA, he's Canadian so add 35% for the the exchange plus the taxes when you register it. Those 10 year old sleds just became $7000 each.

Hey guys. I think this is my first post here on the 4 stroke side. I am looking into getting an apex. Probably a bit older. My budget is 5000 - 6000$ which here in Canada sleds are more expensive. Wondering about common issues to look for When buying. Which years are best to look for etc etc. Any advice is much appreciated.

Not sure were in Canada you are but my neighbor (old guy) has a mint 2007 Attak for sale..cheap.. Lancaster NH... USA. Like new..very low mileage..garaged might be 2000 miles. $5500 us asking.

With the exchange rate and now you have to us a broker to bring sleds across the border (I don't think they do it for free) would it be worth the trouble. It would have to be a smokin' deal. JMO

you can be the broker yourself on the sled. the biggest pain is making sure all the paperwork is straight and that us customs knows you are bringing it out. i have done it once but would need a really good deal to make it worth my while to do it again.

Last year when I went down to pick up my son's sled 2 winters ago I was told that I will need a broker. They let that slide because I called ahead and was told that I didn't need one. That was the year it changed. Just phoned the US customs and was told that a broker IS required.

I have an RX-1 for sale in the classified section that has an Apex seat and beefed up Mono skid along with many more upgrades. Nice thing about the RX-1 is the one piece cowl makes it so easy for maintenance- and cheaper than an Apex too.
