when I got my new viper the steering set up from the dealership was brutal. I’m not impressed. Taking it back to the dealership is not an option as I’m 7 hours away. The handlebars were cocked to one side while going straight and the skis were toed in quite a bit. I have everything straight now and have 1/4” toe out. The concern I have is the left side has considerably less thread engagement on the heim joint than the right. Looking at the comparisons in the pictures below. Should this be a concern of the thread pulling out of the aluminum shaft.

Doesn’t look like I have much of a choice. There doesn’t seem to be any where else on the steering system to adjust.

It should be fine. Only time you will have a problem is if you hit something big with it like a tree.

The other end of the rod of the rod has the same thing. It may be turned in deeper than the outside one. Not centered.Doesn’t look like I have much of a choice. There doesn’t seem to be any where else on the steering system to adjust.
