Does anybody know if the Mt. Tamer rear suspension will work on a Nytro RTX? The Yamaha parts fiche says that the part Nos. for most of the suspension are the same between the RTX and MTX. I'm planning on putting on some Ulmer billet 144 rails this summer, which have the same mounting as the stock 121 skid.

Also, what's the word on the street regarding Fundy's persormance trail package for the Nytro? Their website has been sitting half finished all winter. I got an email back from Ray(?) but he didn't actually answer any of my questions.

Fundy said to hang tough as they have been real busy. They have as rumoured , already made 165 hp out of the Nytro , but expect upwards of 185 with a change of cam, timing and pistons, plus whatever head mods. Sounds promising, just hate the waiting for it to happen.

yes the rumors are true, It was mine that was done there,I opted for a mild package because I normally put alot of miles on in a season. So far mine is near 160 hp, but there's alot more left on the table .So far nearly 3000 miles & no issues at all.

Right on. So how bout Timbersled? Will their stuff fit my Nytro RTX? I emailed and they couldn't tell me.

Fundy will be seeing some $$$ this summer :D

Parkindale, what did they do to achieve 160 HP?

I had seen a few heads from Fundy circling up here in canada, that were acutally loosing hp on the dyno on the apex's just a heads up you guys might want to do some digging before jumping in.

ok, got to get website for this fundy, wanna gert more HP out of this bad boy!!!!

and yes, Mountain tamer should be no issue at all on the RTX, give Allen a call, he will hook you up...

am mid install on the timbersled front suspension right now...it is apart in the garage, will post install suggestions etc. in the TTabs mod shop thread, and will post the mtn tamer install in there as well (mine is on an MTX though)

you will NOT go wrong with stuff from Timbersled!!!
