Poos are not slow, but 800 XCRs are. I think those things weighed something like 580 pounds dry and only put out about 140 hp.

XCRs are probablly the best/fastest sled Polaris built in the past 10 years. I saw two stock XCRs this past weekend running 119 MPH at the Radar runs.

'00 800 XCR weighs 555 pounds according to Polarisman.com.
I tried to find the weight for a '99, but its not listed.
As to the XCR being the "best/fastest sled Polaris has made in the past 10 years", Ive been around Polaris sleds all my life and Id take an XC with a domestic twin over a triple-triple XCR any day.

- Which one? I have 6
I had 2 800 XCR's. With a litle clutchingand some minor mods both would do low 120's on the gun consistantlly in the 1/4.

well if an xcr 800 is that fast I must have raced a sick one I was beating him everytime with my Rage. I also beat a 2001 800 mxz this past weekend we even traded sleds...same results. But again its gotta be a sick running 800 I'd say. I know he had a shaved head and a pipe..it sounded real mean but I beat him out of the hole and on top end so something must be wrong??

Yup he must of screwed it up somehow, mine all stock was fast but after the pipes shim kit and reeds mine would run 120 on the gun, something this new apex has yet to do,hell my 03 rx1 ran 117 on the gun, dont get me wrong i love my apex/attak but its not the fastest yet,but i am working on it,and i have been running poos for over 25 years so i know a little about them too,and if you want to compare xcs to xcrs no contest in my book as i still ownr xcs but loved the xcrs way better and the 99 xcr700 was topdog for sure.Yama-Crazy said:well if an xcr 800 is that fast I must have raced a sick one I was beating him everytime with my Rage.
