i have a new problem with tors.
i installed rox riser & had problem with tors coming on.
i then put on the oem mountain throttle cable and all seemed good.(no tors)
i put everything back together & tors came on again.
the cable is not tight, routing looks good etc.
took apart & i screwed the throttle cable in at least 3/4 of the way. (where the cable threads in by the throttle body) then locked the lock nut.
tors does not come on.
but now tors will not come at all !
if i hold the throttle a little when turning key, tors (code 84) does not come on.

everng seems to run fine.
anybody run into this ?
does it matter that much if tors not working ?
(never had it on my old sleds) :o| :o|

are you sure you havent disconnected and not reconnected anything else?

the throttle..."go flipper" lol..
as you put your thumb into it it pivots....it actually has a pivot both ways...make sure it is pivoting freely both ways...when running if you make the portion closest to the bar pivot away from the assembly the tors should activate..or give a little gas and move that back portion away from the assembly and tors will come on...you might need to be at a couple thou rpms?

i'll check.
just to confirm what was going on:
tors was coming on, i tried many things, the only way to get it to go off was to take throttle cable out of throttle lever.

i then put it back in the lever, tors was on, i tightened the cable at the carb bracket, tors went off.
but now does not work at all.

when you tightened the cable you left a bit of slack on the curved metal piece right?
