track clips

Has anybody have their track clips replaced.I had mine replaced at dealer a lot were missing and the ones that were left were wore.They said my track was to loose.The sled is a 06 venture with 12400 miles on it.The rubber on the track is good.

I had to do a bunch of them all of a sudden a couple years ago. That was a heck of a ride. No biggy...just do it...

The dealer replaced every clip on the track the ones that were lleft were thin

I wonder why a track being too loose would cause this?

If you got 12k miles out of a set of track clips you did good. I burn through a set every 3-4k. They are a wear component and replacement is not out of the ordinary.

IF THE TRACK IS LOOSE IT RATCHETS MORE

If your dealership is telling you that your track clips wore out(indicated by the fact that the remaining ones were very thin) because your track was ratcheting, I would find a new dealer to service your sled.
