I'm looking for some advice/feed-back on what type of track I should buy. I'm running an 05 Warrior LE - I've been looking at two specific Camoplast models - I'm going to a 1" but am not sure whether to buy an Ice Ripper or the Predator and stud after? I do mostly trailing riding in South-central Ontario with a bit of bush-wacking and limited lake running...

My sled's in the shop right now, so any advice would be really appreciated...

I wanted to put a Predator for my Mountain (151") and it was discontinued. Check first if its still avilable in 136" lenght first. I had to go for a ripsaw or the crossover and choose the crossover.

I have an Ice Ripper and love it. Not quite as good as picks. But, I also do not have to worry about them ripping out!

Has anyone actually added extra studs in their "Ice Ripper" tracks?

That is an interesting thought. Wonder how many you would need to add to keep from ripping them out. Would the performance of the OEM studs be degraded?

I had 108 studs on the ripsaw and it got beat up bad. Last season I went to the 1" Ice Ripper. Worked almost as well on the icy stuff and great on the trails. I am running it on a 05 Warrior LE also.

I'm considering the new "Ice Attak" track. It's also a 1 inch track but has new sharper carbides. It's based on the Hacksaw track.

I would choose predator. I had one on my SX Viper 700 and was more that saticfied. Very good allround track.
