Hi all this is the first Yamaha's I have owned, bought a 05 RX1ER and a 05 RX Warrior Installed a CPR turbo on Warrior, and I cant keep track from ratcheting. Looking at putting a Cat tsl rear skid in I suppose, does anyone have correct mounting hole locations for the 136 tsl cat skid in tunnel? Or even better yet a good fix for the Yamaha skid?

I don't have the HP you do but after I tightened the track up after it stretched ratcheting stopped. I suggest giving it some time.

If your track feels fairly tight, reduce the amount of transfer by reducing the upper gap in the control rod by a notch or two. You will lose some transfer but the ratcheting will stop. (The sled will corner flatter too.) The Pro-action loses a lot of track tension when it goes to full rear transfer.

The Ripsaw is a great track but does stretch quite a bit breaking in.
Nature of the beast.
I tightened mine at 50, 150 , 300 and 500 kilometers.
No adjustment needed since.
This sled will ratchet with a loose track even without all of your power.
Keep it in spec for tension and you should be OK.
Advice above for control rods will help as well.

Welcome to the site. There is a ton of info here.

Do some searching for set ups on the Warrior rear skid.
This is a very good skid in the Warrior and should not need to be replaced.
It does however have a multitude of adjustments and takes some time to get it set up for your weight and riding style.
Break it in for 300 to 500 miles before playing with it too much though. Its nature changes quite a bit once broken in.

All the best,

Dave

I had to install extrovert drivers in my 04 warrior , you WILL have track ratcheting until you install these drivers no matter how you set up the rear skid .........if you have a turbo.

track rachett

Hi thundercat1,send me a fax # and i will send you the templents and hole locations for mounting a cat suspension in your rx1,I have a mc express turbo in mine, and the track has never rachetted even with 14# of boost,2000 miles on it with the turbo, also a loose ripsaw track with 196 1.4 studs go to suspensions on this forum to see my rx1 with cat suspension,See ya

I had the dame problem, with my turbo. Use the template from Lickity Splits . Not even the anti ratchet drivers will help the ratcheting.
