Aggresive trail and lake rider. Looking to replace my 13,000km ripsaw. Was at Toronto sled show spoke with designer at Camoplast booth. Think I might try a 1128x1" x 15 ice ripper xt. Any one run these last year ?
Don't do much off trail riding and looking to pick up a few mph top end.
Bought a set of TRACKS USA rail extensions for the skid.
Any other recomendations in the 1" lug height ?

Ya,i run the energy 1" track,on 144 studs down the middle,on double backer plates, they are 1.075 height, and work awsome for trail, not for drag racing,i am really just concerned in fast trail riding. Last year, near the end of winter,we ran lots of lose sloopy snow, and even the 1" track still worked great,my other two sleds were on 1.25 ripsaws, and i could still walk away, and keep on pulling,we only had a couple of times we could run it fast on top, when we got on a short pond,we ripped it up,but ran out of realistate, when the speedo was touching 133 and climbing. And in the trails,it walks my boys 06 rtx by 7-10 sleds, have only gpsed it once in the trails at 111 mpg,and it had more. So the 121x1" light weight energy track, has helped the top end,now if the track lasts all this year,i will be real happy.
