What track speed are you seeing with your Rx-1 in deep snow.

Am getting 48 to 50 mph on short pull in deep snow (not fresh snow) with my 151 x 16 x 2 challenger with no run up. I think it good.

I will go with a longer track next year (162) , i will keep the beast one more years.

im not decided between 15 x 162 x 2.25 or 16 wide. Maybe 16 x 162 will be to much.

i am about 35-40mph track speed at 10,000ft altitude with a 162x15x2.25 depending on snow conditions. Plan to put a 162x16 on both sleds next season. One will be boosted though so size wont matter. I think my NA sled will have no problem turning the 162x16. The apex seems to have no problem

I put the 162" Maverick on my RX-1 and it goes no problem. Not sure on track speed, I follow the rpm's more than speed.

thanks

My track spin a lot, i will go bigger for sure. but i dont like the maverick for the hardpack. I will go with a Challenger

That is pretty good for a NA RX-1 . If memory serves me correctly I was only getting 38 MPH track speeds before turbo. Now they are up in the 70's. If I were you, I would definately go with a bigger track. Helps big time. And like already posted, the camo extreme seems to be the way to go. I will be getting one after the rest of my Maverick falls apart. Way to soft for a turbo.

YEAH, exactly, that impressive the way my Rx-1 is spinning the track, and am not losing a hair of Rpm when climbing, am loosing just ground speed quickly when snow is bottomless and am not having a lot of speed before hitting the hill..

I must say, the clutching is right on, and 14000 km later, the motor is still running very very strong.

Challenger extreme, your talking about the 2.5 inch paddles ? i think it not gonna fit in my tunnel. i got about 3/8 of inch of clearance . I was thinking about 2.25 inch or 2.315 16 inch wide.
