I'm looking at making an upgrade to either a 1.5" Camoplast Ripsaw, or a 1.5" Camoplast Intense. From what I've heard, the Intense may be better because I do alot of off trail and hill riding.

The only issue I have is that I've been told that a Ripsaw will fit without removing the tunnel protectors, but the Intense won't unless you take the protectors out. I'd rather leave them in if I can.

Has anyone out ther put a 1.5 Intense on an Attak?? If so, will it fit without removing the protectors.

Thanks. ;)!

I have Intense in my 07 Attak. Protectors are in place, I am unstudded. Lugs did rub the front protectors, so I notched the track lugs that were in line with the protectors about 1/8" with a sharp utility knife and about 20 minutes of time.

Great track with zero regrets, on and off trail. I'd do it all over again...but it's still far from hard-core off-trail machine.

I just replaced the ripsaw with a Predator 9819. Port Yamaha is selling them for 249.00 reduced from 530.00. This track is great both on an off trail. It really hooks up in loose snow.

Thanks, for the info..

Looks like I'll be going with the 1.5" Intense. Anyone else out there with opinions on this track?

Thanks,
Great track.... you will have to go longer as well if you really want to get up on the POW. But for just froggin around and you don't mind the trenching, you should be happy!

Will you lose any top end with that track?

i think next year i'm going with the predator 9838h162 136" for my attak pre-drilled and fully clipped 1", hopefully i can get alittle more top end out of it

I have seen 122 speedo with this track on a railroad grade, I'm mechanically all stock except for this track change. I suppose that's a few mph slower than a shorter lug would probably run. This track is a few pounds heavier and obviously pushes a litle more air than the stock ripsaw.

Seems like an awesome idea for keeping the protectors in, while adding a 1.5" lug track. Great advice!

How has the Intense track held up on the trails? Lugs fold over, etc. at all? Good durability? Bseens to be a perfect track to replace the stock 1.25 Ripsaw with. Either that or the Cobra track. I like the looks of the Intense better tho.

I like to bring back the oldies. Plus, these guys have tried this track a year or two and may have done good feedback about the Intense, which I'm pretty interested in. Never hurts to ask! ;-)
