made my own kit today, realy easy if you have some old transfer rods around, i just cut the ends of for the upper spacers, then used the bootom part for the shaft beetween the relay rods, hole is already dtrilled so just have to tap the one side,i had a srx short travel limiter strap around and it looked close to being right, my question is
--what does having them to tight or loose do
is it going to hurt if its to tight? i wanted to lowere the rear hight anyway , any info would be great, oh ya is it going to ride like crap now?

Having them tight reduces the amount of travel in the rear shock and you won't have as much transfer due to that lack of travelaccording to the instructions from MPI. I think too loose and you will over extend on the rear shock posibly.
I have my straps set up for about 2-3" of upward travel from were it sits with just the weight of the sled and and the FRA in the soft setting, it rides great. I hope this helps you out.

On the MPI kit there is a alluminum spacer that goes in there if I remember right. I would have to look at mine again and compare it to Black Sabbath aka Johnny Rocket's set up and get back to you on that.
Edit; There isn't a spacer and my wheels are still in the skid. I left them there because they look like they are to guide the track and keep it in line. I don't know why others have removed them. :?: :?
