Thought I would share a little lighting project I did for my truck bed. Turned out great and very useful. Think you could get a tan in there now. lol
Was using some battery motion lights but was sick of replacing the batteries.

Parts- 16' reel of flexible LED's from Amazon. $8
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005EHHLD8/ref ... 25410_item

Rockerswitch, pressure/door switch, inline fuse, and electrical box (plasti-dipped black of course.)

Wanted lights to come on when tailgate opened so used a door switch but also wanted to be able to shut them off if driving with tailgate open.
Just grabbed power from my trailer plug in harness. (orange wire if you have newer F-150)
Just need to make a jumper so it's hot all the time.

Pics-

Looks sweet guy! Great idea......are those rusty bolts holding the pressure switch? Lol

When are you coming to do mine?????? :drink:

Thanks Nate, as for the rusty bolts, they will be getting touched up with some black paint. The bolts and switch were"borrowed" from a early 80's GMC straight truck sitting in bone yard at work. LOL

As far as yours, soon, soon.. ;):D
How's your truck man?

Nice!

Trucks good, basically just sits in the garage as I drive my work truck every day lol I did put a airraid mid pipe and Diablo Intune on it. Wow that intune is unreal! Can program/adjust just about anything you want. Second gear chirps the tires pretty good now :jump: I also clay barred it, nice and smoothhhhhh!

Still liking the ecoboost?

Oh yea, love it.
Went up to Houghton last week to check out fall colors and put 500 miles on going up and driving around the Keewanaw and was able to get 20 mpg! Pretty happy with that.
