Looking for some ideas on a trunk bag for my '09 Nytro RTX SE.

Did a search for storage...Would like to see some pictures of the bag installed on a short track sled and comments about how you like it.

Thanks,
Dave

most bags so far have melted even with the turnout, yammie makes a bag for over the back of the seat area that wont.

They make bags for the xtx, such as skinz but I still wouldnt trust it not melting.

bag

Have had the rear bag on my 09fx for 7227 miles now with no problems.Great for extra belt and a few snacks, also have the tool kit in it,small foldup saw also.

I picked up a tank bag end of last year but I've been looking at a trunk or saddle bags for my 121 as well but I have a huge OCD issue with drilling in a new tunnel to attach straps. I did ride a xtx last season with a trunk bag on it and it didn't seem to get in the way at all.

I was hoping someone had pictures of a 121" with a rear bag. I have the deluxe tank bag, but there doesn't look to be much room in there.

On my Viper, a buddy of mine had a set of HJC bags, instead of drilling, he used an existing bolt, put a flat washer underneath it with a little barrel that was threaded. No drilling, and when the bags aren't on it, just remove the little allen head and the end of the strap comes right off. It's pretty slick!

Come on guys? Anything?

Snow?

Dave

I have saddle bags on mine. Not sure of the part number but they came off from an 06 Vector GT and are Yamaha oem. They work great.

This isn't my sled, but this is the bag I have. It works well. I haven't had any real issues. If you have the bag too far back, it will start to smell burnt. Even though it's not touching the exhaust, you'll know when it's gettin too warm! I just moved it up an inch or so and it's fine. Good luck
