Has anybody tuned stock flyweights with nuts and bolts instead of the stock rivets? Want to use the stock weights because they are really good for top end, but i didn't want to have to drill rivets out on the trail. If so what are some of the nuts and bolts used like sizes, material, weights, etc.
Thanks for the input!

Hauck power sports used to sell a set of different weight screws with nuts. They might have more info. I remember they were metric thats it.

The 4 stroke weights are too wide to use nuts & bolts. They will hit the spider when shifting out.

Have a schmidt bros stage 2 kit and it comes with allen head bolts and bolt with a nut.Works great, plenty of room on weight.

Does anybody know the difference in part #'s for the 14.5mm rollers. 8fg-17624-00-00 is the new part #, is it made out of different material then the old part # 8cr-17624-00-00. the 8fg is around $50 a piece and the 8cr is around $30 at my local dealer. Does it matter which one or is it yamahas way of making more money?
