Just curious guys, i've been ignoring the icing issues i've been having on the back of the sled and my left foot icing up pretty bad.
How many have the front hold blocked as well as the rear??
I'm sure 99.9% have the rear done but is the front one necessary to block as well? Was talking to my dealer and they said to leave it open.
I noticed on this post, without many negative replies, that both holes were blocked: http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php? ... el&start=0

Only rear blocked off with no problems.

I blocked mine off. I puled the plastic off the back and put heat tape on it. The only machine that I have seen with a heat issue was cause by saddlebags. They prevent air flow across the plastic to keep it cool.

Block off both and no wet left foot, no ice build up in tunnel, no problems whats so ever. Some effort required but the perfect opportunity to go bigger ie: 136" freeride. The wife swears by it. These sled have so much potential, it's up to the trainer..

I'll wait for a few more to chime in, but i'm thinking I'm going to block the front off.
Wet left foot does not make for a super fun ride

I picked up a 07 standard last rear. Im going to block off both. I usually only hit groomed trails and I had alot I mean ALOT of ice under that tunnel. So much that the track was rubbing on it!
A company right near me can make custom block offs. CTECH is the place.
www.racecabinet.com and Josh is the guy to deal with. They make Aluminum race cabinets and can hammer out any aluminum stuff you can think of.

Mine is blocked complete back, and with perforated alu in the front. Seems to work fine, for the little i have tested.
