Tunnel rack or dash storage for an 03 rx1 mountain?

Howdy,

I just picked up a used 03 rx1 mnt and am looking for some advice. (my first sled)

Over all just what you guys think are mandatory mods that I should do it before taking it out.. Ive been picking up on a few things in this forum, but am looking for a quick grocery list that I can talk the dealer about.

Also, Ive noticed there is no storage on the sled. What do you recommend for either a rear rack or tank bags?

I have tons more questions.. but will just start reading more thru the threads

Well here is what i am doing with my 06 RS Vector Mtn.

- exhaust under the tunnel
- hartment tunnel extension
- light weight drop down brackets
- boss highrise seat (has storage)
- lefty throttle

should save over 30lbs and look much better

On yours you will need to do handle bar risers also.

Add the $50 lite weight battery to that also and put it under front bulkhead. Then maybe m7 skid and your dialed. Oh yeah, and gearing and 14.5 mm rollers.
